On October 13 2009, the First Pan-European Opera and Culture HD channel BravaHDTV will be added to the HD-packages of the French digital satellite and DSL pay television service CANALSAT. It is the latest addition to BravaHDTV’s European footprint, which includes already France (Numericable), Holland, Belgium, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Portugal and very soon in Spain, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
Placed in Europe through NOA Productions, BravaHDTV will join the CANALSAT offer in the ‘Music’ section on number 150 and in the ‘HD’ section on number 190. BravaHDTV welcomes its new French audience with an attractive opening night on October 13th. Viewers of CanalSat can watch a sensational French opera production of the composer Jean Philippe Rameau with French orchestra, French conductor and a cast of mainly French singers. In addition BravaHDTV will broadcast the festive opening concert of the famous Carnegie Hall of 2006.
