Opera's from Down Under

With a roof consisting of over a million tiles that were especially manufactured in Sweden, Sydney boasts an opera house that is recognized the world over. Its well-known exterior aside, it is obviously the building's stage where the most beautiful opera productions are to be found. Ascension Day at BravaHDTV

Since 1999, the Leipzig Bach Festival is the world’s major festival regarding the music of J.S. Bach. This concert is one of the highlights of the Leipzig Bach Festival 2004. With the soloist, who are all experts in Baroque vocal music, the chamber choir Ex Tempore, also specialized in music of the 17th and 18th century, and La Petite Bande, an outstanding orchestra for early music, Sigiswald Kuijken has highly professional musicians to perform two of the most remarkable vocal works by J.S.
